A Sheffield Christmas Gift Guide

It’s time to ditch the large online retailers and make a small business jump for joy this Christmas by shopping local and supporting our community.

Our mission at Sheffield Food Tours is to proudly showcase our great city’s diverse venues and vibrant food scene whilst providing guests with a fantastic foodie experience.

We are passionate about supporting local businesses, keeping money circulating within the local economy, and promoting our fantastic independent venues.

With this mission in mind, we have created a food-led Sheffield Christmas gift guide for 2024 that highlights some of our exceptional local independent businesses and hopefully provides you with some gift inspiration.

Food & Drink Gifts

The Sheffield Hamper Company

Brought to you by the dedicated team behind Mesters Market and Knab Farm Shop, The Sheffield Hamper Company skillfully combines the very best of locally sourced produce from some of the city’s finest artisan producers to create a lovely collection of beautifully curated hampers. Each hamper is thoughtfully presented in illustrated boxes and offers a variety of options to suit all budgets and tastes, including selections such as the Homage to Hendos, the Beer Neet In Duluxe, and the generously packed Full Monty (pictured).

Bullion Craft Chocolate

One close to our hearts, we have been working with local bean-to-bar chocolate maker Max and the team from Bullion since our first tour in 2019. We love their incredible craft chocolate and innovative collaborations. Their brand new 4 bar gift set, “The Vault Tray” (pictured), brings together some of their typically gifted bars in a beautifully packaged bundle and includes a Milk Mocha Enriched Milk Bar (Gold Award-Winning), a Hallmark Milk Bar, a Dark Whisky Enriched Dark Bar, and a Vietnam Explorer Series Dark Bar. For those with a super-sweet tooth, the Mixed Brownie Bundle would make a unique treat on Christmas Day, and Bullirum, a collaboration with Locksley Distilling, would make the perfect gift for an Espresso Martini lover.

The Old Shoe in Orchard Square

Have you paid a visit to The Old Shoe in Orchard Square? If not, you must! This independent bar has been open just over a year and offers a great choice of top-quality wines, ciders, and beers from independent suppliers, along with their own handmade cider and soft drinks. Stop by for a drink and check out their wide selection of takeaways, including orange wines, San Sebastian-style cider, and craft beers.
